Kayla Ferlatte
Kayla Ferlatte attended Trios College (formerly The International Academy of Massage) where she graduated with distinction from their 2300h Massage Therapy Program. This however is just the newest step in her lifelong mission to help people in need.
Having previously completed her Social Worker degree from Georgian College followed by a PSW degree from Loyola College she spent 10 years working as a Personal Support Worker, going into people's homes and helping them with their most basic of needs and providing them the care they required to remain in their homes. Though her passion resides in helping the elderly and those in palliative care she is trained in many modern massage techniques such as Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Joint Mobilisations, Active Release Therapy and others so you can count on her to also provide you with the deep tissue release you might require.
Being an active person herself Kayla enjoys Muay Thai kickboxing but also longboarding, swimming, bouldering and getting lost on long trails. Thus, she has the knowledge and skills to help you no matter what your needs may be, whether you are an amateur athlete or a weekend warrior with a desk job but especially if you find yourself reaching your golden years and trying to remain mobile, independent and pain free. In conclusion, through her holistic approach to massage therapy Kayla aims to provide you with an authentic experience leaving you not only more comfortable in your body but content in the fact that you were truly listened to and cared for.
